Freelance African Language Interpreters Needed
Lionbridge is contracted by the US government to provide interpreters to work on US immigration hearings and asylum interviews. Work is done on-site at immigration courts throughout the country and over the telephone on a part-time, freelance basis. We currently have a need for interpreters in a number of different African languages, including the Congolese languages Luba-Katanga and Bembe. To qualify for these assignments, candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents and must have lived in the US for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
